People love clean advice.
Real life is not clean.
The hand you were dealt sets constraints. Obligations pile up. Timing goes bad.
Still, giving up is too cheap.
Use the setback.
Learn. Build skills. Stay ready.
When the timing opens, take the shot and do not look back.
Make your own luck.
I am willing to bet that if you keep preparing and keep putting yourself out there, opportunities expand.
Keep it stupid simple:
Be better than last week.
Keep putting yourself out there.
At least it has worked well enough for me.

I am lucky in obvious ways.
I know people who work F&B from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. I have a roof, water, and food.
But the basics are not enough.
I need to take care of the people I love.
That means I do not have the privilege to be complacent.
I am in a race with time.
Time does not slow down. If I do not improve, time wins.
There is luck too.
Maybe it watches effort. Maybe it does not.
All I can control is the work.
After a while I started thinking bigger.
Why only take care of my loved ones?
Why not create value while doing it?
In the beginning, learning is friction.
The only way through is repetition.
Repetition builds willpower, resilience, and persistence.
Eventually it becomes your default.
You cannot go back, because going back starts to hurt.
Humans hate change. Change is constant.
Stay with something long enough and change becomes familiar.
Maybe that is what growth is.
